Holiday Inn Bismarck, an IHG Hotel

The evening front desk clerk was friendly and generous! Gave us complimentary breakfast coupons and covered the cost of an Uncrustable as a bedtime snack for my 8yo. Since we were checking in close to pool close time, she offered to keep the pool open longer to give us a chance to swim. The whole hotel is clean and up to date. Room was quiet, spacious and very clean. The room even smells nice. Bed and bedding was comfortable and I slept very well. Parking lot is well lit and easy to park my large SUV.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, and love the IHG rewards but the bartender that worked last Friday (Oct 10th) seemed very rude and doesn’t like his job. Everyone at my table agreed and was shocked. Maybe he was just tired. It was between 10-11pm. He should be working in a kitchen or in the back where he doesn’t deal with customers.

Great hotel and location. Only things that sucked was that they don’t do complimentary breakfast. Only the express Holidays Inn have it. This location has a restaurant which you have to pay for breakfast for. Not worth it in my opinion with so many other breakfast options just a stones throw away. The only other weird thing was our shower, in all my decades of travel I’ve never seen such an odd and downright stupid construction. No where to hang a towel, step in and back, just weird. Otherwise it was great.

The Holiday Inn, Bismarck, ND focuses on guest satisfaction. Recently stayed 5/11-21/25. The effective management ensures it consistently provides outstanding customer service and accommodations. There is free and ample parking directly in front of the main entrance. I’m impressed with the quick and efficient check-in/check-out procedures. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, have a refrigerator, microwave, TV, luxurious bedding and high-quality mattresses, providing the perfect setting for quality rest and relaxation. The convenience of their on-site Restaurant & Bar is another plus. The food is delicious (breakfast and dinner), especially the steaks, potatoes, salads, and burgers! Both Russ and Dylan in the Restaurant & Bar are extremely welcoming and accommodating to your needs. I definitely recommend the Holiday Inn of Bismarck, ND, as you won’t be disappointed! My friends and I came down from Minot for the night and we booked a room at this location in Bismarck!! Beautiful building with enjoyable amenities (fireplace outside, indoor pool with hot tub, bar/restaurant with amazing food/drinks (the Appletini is to die for!!) and the best bartender you could ask for!! We admired his attentiveness, and his ability in making every customer feel seen/bringing everybody together. They have the most friendly staff who go above and beyond, the most refreshing air conditioning, and impressively clean environment. Thank you for the excellent hospitality, we will be returning guests!!!

Food was best motel food I every had at a work meeting. Room was clean. Bed was mid. Overall I would stay again

Had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Bismarck, the people were friendly, the coffee was good. I was told the breakfast was really good as well. The beds were hotel beds, not a tempurpedic but any means, but still decent enough.

I arrived at the Holiday Inn in Bismarck tired and ready to check in. Behind the counter stood a man whose hair looked like he had just returned from a minor lightning accident. It had personality, like it was telling its own story. I gave him my name. He typed with the intensity of someone trying to access top secret government files, then paused and said the words that freeze any traveler’s blood: “I can’t find your reservation.” The air grew still. My heart sank. Was I about to sleep in my truck? Plot twist. I had booked the Holiday Inn Express instead of the regular Holiday Inn. Same city, wrong franchise, classic rookie move. But instead of watching me fall apart, the man with the storm-tested hair transformed into my personal navigation system. No phone, no printout, no GPS. He gave me full spoken directions like it was 1999, every turn and landmark committed to memory. It was part hospitality, part time travel. I could have used Waze, but something told me to embrace the adventure. I decided to channel my inner Christopher Columbus and set out across the unknown streets of Bismarck using only his guidance. Each turn was perfect. I didn’t discover any new continents, but I did find the right Holiday Inn. I never stayed here, but that front desk experience deserves 5 stars. It was hospitality mixed with a little science experiment and a touch of time travel.
